Wedding faq

Do you Travel?

Short answer - yes! I am more than happy to travel anywhere throughout the UK. If your wedding venue is no further than a two hours car journey from Brailsford, Derbyshire, package prices already include travel expenses. For anywhere further afield there will be additional charges for fuel and accommodation.

Will we meet before the wedding?

If you live locally to me, I would love to grab a coffee with you! However, meeting in person isn't always possible (due to distance, photoshoots, kids..) but we can for sure have a zoom call or a phone call if you'd rather! Just drop me a message via the contact form.

How & when should we book you?

ASAP! I get multiple enquiries for the same dates and I'd hate to have to turn you away, so as soon as you have your venue confirmed get in touch and we'll get the ball rolling! To secure your booking I require a £200 non-refundable deposit along with a completed wedding agreement. The rest of your balance is due 4 weeks prior to your wedding date.

Can we have more hours coverage?

Sure! This can be arranged when initially booking with me or alternatively you can ask me on the day of your wedding! I charge an hourly rate for any additional time you may want. If this is arranged on the your wedding day, you will be billed the following week and the balance will have to be paid before you receive your gallery.

Are you insured?

YES! I have both public liability and professional indemnity insurance - so no need to worry.

We hate having our photo taken - What do we do?!

Don't worry, most of us feel this way (myself included!) but I am here to help. We'll keep things natural and relaxed, go for a wander with some occasional guidance from me. Booking a pre wedding couple shoot is also a great idea to get you both feeling more confident in front of the camera and we'll get to know one another better.

Can we have the RAW images?

Unfortunately, no - sorry! This is the normal procedure within the photography industry. Firstly, to view them you would need specialist (and expensive) software which are usually only owned by professionals. Secondly, editing is where I bring your images to life so often the RAW files look nothing like the final product. A lot of love and time is put into the editing process.

Have you photographed our venue before?

There are THOUSANDS of venues throughout the UK so it's rare that I've photographed a venue more than once. But as a photographer it's my job to get creative and seek out the special areas of your venue. I always do my research prior to your big day and if it's a local one to me I'd be more than happy to visit beforehand!
