Natural, unposed image of me in my wedding dress on my wedding day

i LOVE love…

me on my wedding day!

Hi, I’m Molly

I’m an editorial wedding photographer based in Derbyshire, covering weddings across the UK and beyond. My approach is relaxed, considered, and quietly led by a love for natural moments and beautiful, fashion inspired imagery.

I’m very laid back by nature - I love a good natter, I’m usually found with a cup of tea (or a Diet Coke), and there’s almost always music playing in the background, slightly too loud. Creating a calm, easy atmosphere is such a big part of how I work, because I know how important it is for you to feel comfortable and completely yourselves in front of the camera.

Photography has always been my world - I’ve only ever worked within photography, and I can’t imagine doing anything else. I have a naturally creative, ever-curious mind, and photography gives me the space to channel that - allowing me to notice the quieter details, anticipate moments as they unfold, and create something thoughtful and lasting from it all.

A FASHION INSPIRED APPROACH TO WEDDING PHOTOGRAPHY

Before weddings, I studied fashion photography at Falmouth University, and that influence still runs through everything I do. I’m drawn to light, movement, styling, and all of those thoughtful details that elevate an image from something simple into something that feels editorial and timeless.

As an editorial wedding photographer in the UK, I blend that fashion-led eye with a documentary approach - capturing your day as it naturally unfolds, while gently guiding when needed. The result is imagery that feels effortless, refined, and true to you.

MY STORY

I live near the Peak District with my husband and our two young children and being by the sea with the people I love is when I’m happiest. Starting Molly Ann Photography was inspired by becoming a mum in 2018. After having my daughter, I realised just how powerful photographs are - how they allow you to hold onto a moment that would otherwise pass in an instant. Being able to preserve something so fleeting, and turn it into something lasting, is something I’ll never take for granted.

What’s it like working with me?

I adore photographing weddings that feel relaxed yet considered - days filled with personality, style, and a lot of laughter.

I’m naturally drawn to the in-between moments: the way you look at each other when no one’s watching, the movement, the emotion, the details you’ve so carefully chosen. I won’t overly direct or interrupt what’s happening - instead, I document your day as it unfolds, allowing everything to feel natural and unforced.

For couples who want to feel like the best version of themselves, without it ever feeling staged, this approach creates images that are both beautiful and meaningful.

FOR MODERN, STYLE CONSCIOUS COUPLES

I work with couples who care about how their wedding feels just as much as how it looks. Those who love fashion, appreciate detail, and want imagery that reflects their day in an elevated but honest way.

Whether you’re planning a countryside celebration, a city wedding, or something further afield, my focus is always the same: to create a collection of images that feel timeless, editorial, and completely your own.
